Ever wonder how people like Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Tony Robbins, Richard Branson excel at their craft?
They make it look easy right?
Not you or I.
Well, Aristotle has a different view. We create our own excellence. And it’s not created overnight. But in little actions every day.
Like building a habit.
Great writers write every day. No matter what.
Great athletes train every day. No matter what.
Excellence is a byproduct of every day action. Not genetics.
With each iteration, you learn. You get better. You reflect. And you start again.
It is the repetition of an act that ensues excellence.
Think of an area of your life where you would like to excel. Perhaps you’ve tried in the past, but have been unsuccessful.
Write down what little step you need to take every day to get better at the craft. And then, start doing it.
One little action.
